APPLY AND MAKE IT FLY! /b /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liElaborate, optimize and communicate flight tests planning. /li liPrepare and manage flight tests dispatch. Ensure availability of flight tests documentation (including on board and regulatory flight authorizations). /li liFollow-up tests execution to support maturity and safety. /li liPrepare and coordinate all the aspects of a test campaign. /li liOperate test means for flight tests (telemetry, radio, …). /li liScreen and optimize test requests, screen and optimize planning, support readiness for test execution in close relation with stakeholders, follow-up flight tests related certification documentation. /li /ul h3Your main tasks and responsibilities will include: /h3 ul libTest preparation /b: ul liElaborating, optimizing, and communicating planning of ground and flight test activities on prototype and series helicopters in accordance with the Test Coordinator/Test Squad Leader. /li liEnsuring the consolidation of all testing activities on aircraft and the involvement of all stakeholders inside and outside the Flight Test Department. /li liScreening and optimizing ground and flight test specifications/orders and supporting feasibility investigations regarding necessary tools, equipment as well as testing infrastructure in general. /li liPreparing flight test campaigns on different locations / areas, mainly in Europe. Supporting the Test Coordinator on negotiation of terms and conditions as well as costs for establishing. /li liSupporting prototype shop during preparation of lay‑ups. /li liSupporting readiness for test performance in close relation with all stakeholders: ul liEnsuring that the right test configuration of prototype and series test helicopters is established and documented well (helicopter, test equipment, flight test instrumentation) for each test purpose. /li liIssuing appropriate documentation for the flight clearance approval. /li liEnsure availability of flight tests documentation (including on board and regulatory flight authorizations). /li /ul /li /ul /li libTest execution /b: ul liContributing to all relevant activities during the testing phases to ensure the test schedule. /li liSupporting on‑site and off‑site test campaigns on demand / when necessary: Supporting ground and flight test operations. /li liPotentially operating test means for flight tests, testing observation by telemetry on ground during critical test flights. /li liAs member of the extended Flight Test Integrated Team, being the interface towards Flight Test Department internal departments like data analyses, flight test instrumentation and data reduction. /li /ul /li libTest reporting /b: ul liSupporting on issuing ground and flight test reports. /li liCoordinating delivery of certification test documentation. /li liManaging administrative tasks with regards to flight test activities (statistics on flight hour efforts, failures, reports and documentation). /li /ul /li /ul h3We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience: /h3 ul liDegree in Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s, or equivalent diploma), preferably with an aeronautical/aerospace profile. /li liStrong analytical, rigor and problem‑solving skills with a proactive and systematic continuous improvement approach, capable of performing effectively even in complex environments involving multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines. /li liExcellent verbal and written communication skills. /li liFlexibility, availability, and the ability to adapt to complex and dynamic scenarios. /li liAdvanced level of English and Spanish; French will be highly valued. /li liKnowledge and/or experience in Engineering Systems, Vehicle Systems and Avionics, Engineering Requirements, System Design and Development, Systems Integration, Validation and Verification (VV), Airworthiness, and Flight Safety. /li liKnowledge of rotary‑wing platforms, complex avionics systems (e.g., HELIONIX), and TIGER and NH90 fleets will be considered a strong plus. /li liExperience and/or knowledge in systems and systems integration, weaponry, testing, Certification, and Qualification (under EASA or other regulations) is highly desirable. /li liAeronautical hobbies, knowledge and related experience (PPL, UAS, gliders, etc.) will be considered an asset. /li /ul pbIMPORTANT: To spearhead the initiation of the MKIII project, this position will be based in Marignane (France) for an initial 2‑year period, with a relocation package. /b /p pThis job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth. /p pbCompany: /b Airbus Helicopters España, SA /p pbEmployment Type: /b Permanent /p pbExperience Level: /b Professional /p pbJob Family: /b Testing /p pBy submitting your CV or application you are consenting to Airbus using and storing information about you for monitoring purposes relating to your application or future employment.
