The Qualitas Energy team consists of more than 550 professionals across fifteen offices in Madrid, Berlin, London, Milan, Hamburg, Wiesbaden, Trier, Cologne, Stuttgart, Warsaw, Wroclaw, Santiago, Durham, Bristol, and Edinburgh. As part of this strategy, we are looking to hire a Technical/ Commercial Asset Manager in our PV AM department. Responsibilities and duties: • Monitor the performance of PV plants through SCADA systems and other monitoring tools, identifying anomalies and supporting the optimisation of energy production and asset availability., • Monitor and report key technical KPIs, including Availability, Performance Ratio (PR), energy losses and irradiation. Analyse deviations between budgeted and actual performance and propose appropriate mitigation measure., • Supervise O&M contractors and ensure compliance with contractual obligations, agreed service levels and performance targets., • Manage technical warranty claims with EPC contractors, O&M providers and equipment suppliers., • Support the management of relationships with regulatory bodies, grid operators and public authorities., • Ensure compliance with applicable grid code requirements, HSE standards, and local regulations., • Prepare, monitor and manage annual technical operating budgets, including Opex and Capex., • Manage key operational and commercial contracts, including O&M agreements, Asset Management agreements, insurance policies and grid connection agreements, and participate in or lead related negotiations., • Oversee compliance with PPA obligations and revenue-related agreements., • Support insurance claims arising from technical incidents, coordinating the necessary technical documentation and follow-up., • Prepare technical and asset performance reports for internal management, investors, lenders and other relevant stakeholders., • Support asset acquisitions, technical due diligence processes and the onboarding and integration of new projects into the portfolio., • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal Asset Management processes, tools, reporting standards and methodologies, with the objective of optimising asset performance and operational efficiency. Experience and requirements: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably Energy, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or a related field., • 1–3 years of professional experience in Asset Management, O&M, technical advisory or a similar role within the renewable energy sector., • Good understanding of renewable energy assets, preferably utility-scale solar PV., • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret technical and financial performance data., • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word., • Good command of English, both written and spoken., • Proactive, analytical and solution-oriented mindset, with a strong sense of ownership.
