Elusav are recruiting a Lead/Senior Planner for one of Europe's largest Contractors for a Data Centre Construction Project in Zaragoza, Spain. This is one of the biggest Data Center projects in Spain & Europe, excellent opportunity to be involved in a highly prestigious project. The Lead/Senior planner will be responsible for Developing and maintaining resource loaded schedules for pre-construction / construction / commissioning utilizing Primavera P6 Software. Responsibilities: • Responsible for a project or portfolio of projects (regional / sectoral)., • Responsible for all aspects of planning, as defined by the Planning SOP., • Reporting to Planning Department., • Reporting to Business Unit / Project Management., • Developing and maintaining schedules for pre-construction / construction / commissioning., • Developing and maintaining progress databases., • Progress reporting., • Milestone projections, delay / float path analysis., • Earned Value Management systems., • Monitoring schedule performance and productivity., • Auditing progress on site., • Attending schedule meetings, liaising with client and subcontractors., • Preparation of tender schedules., • Preparation of histograms., • Leading planning meetings., • Supporting weekly workface planning systems., • Resource / cash loading of schedules., • Providing data for payment applications., • Completing contract review reports., • Responsibility for quality and accuracy of schedules and reports., • Making relevant parties aware of issues and advising on solutions., • Recording delay and disruption., • Assisting in the preparation of claims and providing data for contractual disputes., • Travelling to projects in order to carry out the above, if required., • Managing, training, coaching, supporting, developing, leading staff, if required., • Covering Planning Manager responsibilities when required., • Covering Project Planner responsibilities when required., • All other duties associated with role. Requirements: • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in planning on large-scale construction projects., • Be proficient using Primavera P6, Earned Value Management, Excel., • Clear understanding of construction methodologies and sequence., • Able to produce programme to plan and monitor the works from necessary information (drawings/model/SOW etc.)., • Capable of managing the planning of large-scale projects with minimum supervision., • Be highly motivated, a self-starter & able to work well in a team on or your own.
