Context of the Position As part of our strategic international expansion, JD Logistics is establishing its core infrastructure within the Spanish market, driven by the launch of our small-goods fulfillment operations. This is a critical greenfield deployment phase, which requires our founding leadership team to manage high operational fluidity, establish local processes from the ground up, and translate centralized global capabilities into localized execution. This position is designed for a highly analytical, system-fluent logistics professional who thrives on data tracking, real-time workload balancing, and optimizing high-volume e-commerce flow control. The Mission & Core Scope The Mission: Manage the real-time data flow, order batching, and volume planning within the Warehouse Management System (WMS), acting as the central coordination point to balance floor productivity with strict outbound carrier departure deadlines. The Scope: You will own the system-side execution of the fulfillment center, managing order wave releases, tracking labor productivity metrics, and identifying operational bottlenecks across the receiving, stowing, picking, and packing departments. Crucial Expectations & Performance Targets To provide a clear understanding of the accountability required, the successful candidate will be evaluated on the following key metrics during the initial 6 to 12 months: System Architecture Optimization: Successfully establish and fine-tune localized order wave patterns and inventory allocation rules within the WMS prior to and during the initial site launch. Volume Bottleneck Resolution: Maintain a fluid, continuous product flow across automated conveyor belts, instantly identifying and clearing digital errors, stuck totes, or picking backlogs to prevent floor downtime. Resource & Labor Balancing: Analyze hourly shift productivity data to provide actionable recommendations to Warehouse Supervisors regarding real-time labor reallocation between departments. SLA & Cut-Off Compliance: Ensure 100% of prioritized e-commerce orders are batched, picked, and routed to the shipping docks in time to meet strict, automated carrier departure schedules. Position Requirements Greenfield Launch Expertise: You must have a verified background working within a production control, flow management, or data-driven control tower role within a tier-1 e-commerce fulfillment center or automated distribution network. Advanced WMS & Data Mastery: Exceptional, hands-on technical proficiency with complex Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), data monitoring tools, and advanced Microsoft Excel. Strong mathematical and analytical aptitude is required. Language Proficiency: Professional fluency in English and Spanish is mandatory to translate system data into operational directions for the floor and report system performance to global HQ. Knowledge of Mandarin is a highly valued corporate asset. Operational Flexibility: High adaptability regarding shift patterns (including night shifts or weekend rotations) to support continuous, 24/7 e-commerce infrastructure monitoring.
