The Opportunity: We’re looking for a curious and driven Software Developer Intern to join our engineering team and gain hands-on exposure to the backend of a large-scale, distributed e-commerce platform. In this role, you will focus on investigating and triaging support tickets related to backend services, using Java, Postman, and AI-assisted tooling to accelerate root cause analysis and resolution. This internship is ideal if you want to understand how modern backend systems are built, scaled, monitored, and maintained in production environments without being thrown into deep water on day one. Responsibilities: • Investigate incoming support tickets related to backend microservices and APIs, • Reproduce and validate reported issues using Postman, logs, and internal tools, • Use AI tools to assist in log summarization, hypothesis generation, and communication drafts, • Identify whether issues are defects, configuration gaps, or usage misunderstandings, • Partner with senior backend engineers to escalate and document confirmed bugs, • Draft clear and structured incident reports and recommended next steps, • Contribute to internal knowledge base and troubleshooting playbooks, • Learn the architecture, data flows, and operational patterns of a distributed commerce stack Requirements: • Foundational programming skills in Java (coursework or projects are enough), • Familiarity with HTTP APIs and use of tools like Postman, • Interest in backend engineering, distributed systems, and e-commerce platforms, • Strong analytical thinking and willingness to dive into unknown systems, • Clear written communication, especially in technical contexts, • Proactive, resourceful, and being adaptable will be in your DNA, • Basic understanding of microservices and message queues (nice to have), • Exposure to Java frameworks, e.g., Spring Boot (nice to have) What we offer: • Flexible work that fits into your life., • Competitive salary., • Permanent contract., • Good work environment is very important for us., • Cultural diversity and international teams., • Other perks: private medical insurance, life insurance, pension plan, meal tickets, time off and other benefits.
