Through our unique combination of local expertise, global network, and unmatched RD capabilities, we can offer everything from standard profiles, to advanced development and manufacturing for most industries. /p h3About the Job /h3 pWe are seeking a highly analytical bProcurement Data Business Analyst /b to join the Hydro Extrusions Procurement team, a strategic organization that oversees spend within several important indirect categories across sites all over the world. /p pIn close collaboration with Category Managers, you will play a critical role ensuring that procurement decisions are based on accurate data and insightful analysis. In this position, you will have to structure and analyze complex datasets to provide actionable recommendations that will support sourcing decisions, cost optimizations and supplier performance. /p pThis role operates across EU and NA regions, in a fast-paced and imperfect data environment. It requires strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to bring structure to complexity with a pragmatic, solution‑oriented and results‑driven mindset. /p h3What you will be doing /h3 pIn close partnership with Category Managers, you will play a key role in driving procurement excellence through data. /p h3Data analysis /h3 ul liCollect, clean, structure and analyze procurement data from multiple sources (multiple ERP systems, supplier reports, sites databases). /li liDevelop and maintain Excel‑based tools (databases, bid sheets, assessments files) to run wide tenders and support decision‑making. /li liAnalyze supplier performance, pricing, cost structure and spend to provide actionable insights and identify savings opportunities. /li liContribute to supplier negotiations and strategic decisions with clear and structured analysis. /li liCreate and maintain dashboards to track savings and categories procurement strategies implementation. /li liSupport execution of complex tenders involving cross‑functional teams and stakeholders in different locations. /li liProvide solutions and recommendations even when data is incomplete or imperfect, ensuring projects move forward with pragmatic and data‑driven recommendations. /li liUphold high personal standards and expectations for quality and impact. /li /ul h3What will make you successful? /h3 h3Required Skills Qualifications /h3 ul liDegree in Mathematics, Business, Economics, Engineering or similar analytical fields. /li liExperience in Procurement, Project Management or related Business‑oriented role is a plus. /li liAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX‑MATCH, data modeling, complex formulas and VBA Macros). /li liAbility to work in project‑based environment, interpret large datasets, and turn complexity into clear insights and pragmatic recommendations, while ensuring continued projects execution. /li liExcellent communication skills to present insights clearly to different stakeholders across multiple locations (proficiency in both Excel and PowerPoint). /li liComfortable working with imperfect data and making sound decisions under uncertainty while maintaining accuracy and delivering results. /li liFluency in English is essential, while proficiency in other European languages is a plus. /li /ul h3If you recognize yourself in the description below, don’t wait to apply! /h3 ul liYou enjoy solving complex problems and turning data into clear, actionable insights. /li liYou are comfortable working with imperfect and incomplete data and thrive finding and bringing structure into it. /li liYou know how to build comprehensive analyses and present them in a structured, synthetic, clear and visual way. /li liYou are curious, proactive, adaptable and like to challenge the status‑quo. /li liYou are comfortable working in a fast‑paced project‑based environment handling multiple tasks in parallel. /li liYou are excited to navigate a dynamic matrix organization and travel up to 25%-30% of time. /li liSelf‑motivated, you are able to perform under time constraints and pressure. /li liExcel is your playground; experience with Power Query, Power BI is a plus. /li /ul h3What we offer you /h3 ul liWhether it’s developing skills or advancing your expertise even further, we’ll support you with continuous learning and development opportunities, to help discuss and steer your long‑term Norsk Hydro career path.
