About the SAP Internship Experience Program The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. About the team The SAP Customer Success teams set sales, customers and partners up for success. As part of the EMEA sales organization, the Value Advisory teams provide strategic advisory in finance, procurement and supply chain to support customer co‑innovation, business transformation, and business process performance improvement programs. They lead client engagements to assess strategic goals, innovation scenarios, key opportunities for improvement, and other sources of additional economic value in digital finance, procurement, supply chain and performance management. They conduct strategic account planning sessions with clients, facilitate client workshops, and lead value‑based engagements. They partner with field sales teams to identify revenue opportunities, create account strategies, and execute on sales leads. They develop strategies and scaled‑up initiatives to increase SAP’s leadership position in digital procurement. What you’ll do Location: Madrid (Spain) Expected start date to end date: asap June 1st – Month Day, Year In this role, you’ll: The Value Advisory Intern/Associate works with and for the Value Advisory team at SAP in EMEA helping them to engage with the relevant sales teams (industry teams, presales etc.) and with customers. The duties include assisting the Value Advisors with workshops and customer presentations, doing customer/competitor research & stakeholder analysis, helping to create a value‑based strategy, creating thought leadership, supporting business development initiatives and assisting in Value Advisory EMEA programs and initiatives. Core tasks of the Associate program Customer Research: Strategic objectives, Trends & Risks, Financial analysis, APM Sessions preparation Stakeholder Analysis: Gathering and analyzing qualitative information, Stakeholder mapping & information online High level Competitor Research: Insights on competitors strengths & weaknesses of the company & solutions, Won/lost deals, Assist in Programs and Initiatives EMEA, Involvement in several SAP wide programs and initiatives across EMEA, Deal support, Reference cases/ customer stories, Customer testimonials (Videos), RFP support, Point of View (POV) or Vision to Value document creation Who you are We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning. Currently studying a master’s degree or an MBA at a Business School Proficiency in English; local languages (Spanish) will be a plus Experience working in a transformational business environment Excellent presentation and communication skills Analytics capabilities/analysis of corporate reports (strategy, balance sheet, annual report) Good understanding of digital transformation and innovation Knowledge of IT processes, software (mainly Microsoft Office) Procurement knowledge is a plus Knowledge or experience of SAP products / services is a plus Creativity (using the latest online tools to show up different) Teamwork & Collaboration experience, an open mind, result‑oriented, integrity and humor SAP is committed to the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity and to providing reasonable accommodations to applicants with physical and/or mental disabilities.
