Our client is a leading high-technology organization specializing in advanced compound-semiconductor and photonic device development. The company delivers end-to-end solutions for next-generation optoelectronic and electronic systems, operating across applications such as high-speed communications, sensing, integrated photonics, and power or RF electronics. With vertically integrated capabilities spanning materials growth, device fabrication, testing, and process industrialization, the organization maintains a strong focus on innovation in III-V semiconductor platforms. The Project Manager – III-V Technology will lead complex, cross-functional projects involving the development, optimization, and scale-up of products and systems based on Indium Phosphide (InP), Gallium Nitride (GaN), or related compound semiconductor platforms. This role combines deep technical expertise with disciplined project leadership to ensure timely and cost-effective execution of technology roadmaps. The Project Manager will align R&D, design, process engineering, testing, and manufacturing teams to deliver robust, production-ready solutions and drive continuous innovation across the full product lifecycle. Project Leadership & Execution Plan, coordinate, and control R&D and industrialization projects aligned with technology and product roadmaps. Define project scope, objectives, milestones, resources, budgeting, and risk strategies for III-V semiconductor development programs. Establish schedules, track progress, and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards associated with III-V materials and cleanroom processes. Mentor junior engineers and promote structured, high-quality engineering practices. Facilitate communication and alignment between R&D, device design, cleanroom, test engineering, and operations. Support technical marketing activities with insights on III-V semiconductor performance and project outcomes. Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Applied Physics, Materials Science, Photonics, Optoelectronics, or a related discipline. Minimum 7 years of experience in semiconductor or photonic technology project management, with hands-on involvement in InP, GaN, or other III-V device development. Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary technology projects from concept to manufacturing ramp-up. Hands-on experience with optical, electrical, RF, or high-frequency testing relevant to III-V devices.
