Job Title: Supermarket Cashier Location: Emilia carles 34 cabrils bcn Job Type: Full-Time/Part Time Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and efficient Supermarket Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle transactions accurately, and maintain a clean and organized checkout area. Key Responsibilities:
• Greet customers as they enter and leave the store.
• Operate cash registers and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions.
• Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate.
• Bag items carefully to prevent damage.
• Assist customers with inquiries and provide product information.
• Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area.
• Follow all store policies and procedures regarding coupons, gift cards, or the purchase of specific items.
• Balance the cash register at the end of the shift and generate reports for credit and debit sales. Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Customer satisfaction-oriented.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
• High level of energy with strong customer service skills.
