The role focuses on building language‑based AI systems for clinical, multilingual use cases. Key responsibilities include designing, developing, fine‑tuning, and deploying NLP solutions, leveraging both traditional machine‑learning methods and large‑language models in regulated environments. Responsibilities Design, develop, fine‑tune, and deploy clinical NLP solutions in multilingual biomedical settings, including information extraction, classification, semantic search, and linking to standard terminologies. Apply traditional NLP and machine‑learning methods (sequence labeling, text classification, feature‑based and neural models) using state‑of‑the‑art AI libraries. Build structured LLM workflows: prompt design, model adaptation, evaluation, and agentic orchestration of multi‑step tasks integrated with downstream systems. Implement retrieval‑based and knowledge‑grounded NLP approaches using embeddings, ranking models, and structured knowledge sources such as ontologies and knowledge graphs. Manage the end‑to‑end AI lifecycle: data preparation, feature engineering, training, validation, deployment, monitoring, and iteration. Design and implement AI‑supported model evaluation, quality assurance, explainability processes, including human‑in‑the‑loop review and annotation workflows for clinical validation. Collaborate with clinical experts, engineers, data scientists, and product teams to translate requirements into scalable AI solutions. Support projects within the team’s core scope, including model development and validation for real‑world evidence and clinical analytics. Keep up to date with advances in language modeling, NLP, and applied machine‑learning, assessing new methods for production use. Work effectively in a multicultural, multilingual environment delivering results under tight timelines. Ensure adherence to security, privacy, and governance requirements, and report risks. Maintain familiarity with organizational information security policies and procedures, participate in regular training, and promptly report incidents. Adhere to the Quality Management System (QMS) policies and procedures, complete assigned training activities, and participate in CAPA, deviations, and audit findings. Contribute to SOPs and application manuals related to team activities. Qualifications ≥3 years of experience in a similar role. Advanced degree (Master or PhD) in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, Computational Linguistics, or a related technical field. Proven experience delivering production‑grade language AI systems combining LLM‑based approaches with traditional NLP and machine‑learning techniques. Strong foundation in applying machine learning for NLP, including classical algorithms, neural network models (Transformers), evaluation methods, explainability, and systematic error analysis. Practical experience with LLMs: fine‑tuning or adaptation, prompt design, evaluation, integration into larger systems, and orchestration using AI agents. Experience with Agentic AI for process orchestration. Advanced proficiency in Python. Experience with additional programming languages (R, Java, Scala) is a plus. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP for model training, deployment, data pipelines, or monitoring. Experience with clinical, regulated, or sensitive data and/or multilingual text corpora. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a pragmatic approach to model selection and system design. Clear communication and effective collaboration across technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Attention to detail and commitment to quality, validation, and responsible AI use. Fluent Spanish (mandatory). Knowledge of additional European languages (English, French, German, Portuguese, Italian) is an advantage. Proactive and self‑learning skills for staying current with AI advances for NLP. Benefits Multidisciplinary team of clinicians, engineers, computational linguists, mathematicians, designers, and NLP experts. Opportunity to impact health globally through technology. Competitive salary, flexible culture, and development framework for career growth. Flexible working arrangements supporting work–life balance. xcskxlj Data Privacy Medsavana S.L. processes your personal data during the selection process in compliance with applicable laws. #J-18808-Ljbffr
