About The Role As our new Security Architect, you'll be part of the Strategy & Governance team within Technology, reporting to the Manager Architect. Your mission? To help design and deliver secure, resilient architecture that protects Care Super's sensitive data, systems and members from evolving cyber threats. You Will Design and advise on security architecture, standards, controls and roadmaps that support Care Super's enterprise architecture and secure-by-design approach. Collaborate with architecture, technology, risk and business teams to embed security considerations into system and application design decisions. Assess cyber and information security risks, including those associated with third-party relationships, and recommend practical controls that balance business needs and risk appetite. Support compliance with relevant regulatory obligations, including APRA, ASIC and privacy requirements, while helping uplift Care Super's cyber maturity. Provide security thought leadership, contribute to cybersecurity reporting and build trusted relationships across internal teams and key vendors. What We're Looking For We're on the lookout for a collaborative security architect professional who can combine deep technical expertise with strong governance, risk and stakeholder engagement skills. You'll thrive in this role if you have: Strong experience in a security, cyber or architecture related technology role, supported by tertiary qualifications in information technology or equivalent experience. Strong knowledge of securing cloud-native, hybrid and API-driven architectures, with practical experience across modern security technologies such as firewalls, SWGs, SEGs, WAFs and SASE. A strong understanding of security governance, risk and compliance frameworks, including NIST CSF, ISO 27001, MITRE, COBIT, ASD control frameworks and relevant financial services regulation. Experience integrating security architecture into enterprise and solution architecture frameworks, including contributing to architectural review and secure design outcomes. The ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly, build trusted relationships and work collaboratively across diverse internal and external stakeholder groups. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CRISC, SABSA or TOGAF will be highly regarded. Why Care Super? We're Not Just Another Super Fund.
