From Nuclio Talent, we are looking for a Client Operations Specialist to join an innovative company in the fintech sector, specialized in financial wellbeing solutions for employees. The selected candidate will be responsible for optimizing and scaling the client operations function, ensuring the smooth execution of daily processes across both B2B clients and B2C users. You will actively participate in data management (employee uploads, shift data, and payroll inputs), incident resolution, and continuous process improvement. We are looking for a highly analytical profile, detail-oriented, with a strong focus on operational efficiency and process optimization, and a passion for improving the end-to-end customer experience in a fast-paced and high-impact environment. What are the main functions and responsibilities of a Client Operations Specialist? • Oversee full client operational processes end-to-end, including payroll inputs, worker data uploads, shift updates, client modifications, and resolution of incidents. • Design, document, and continuously refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) with a scalability-first mindset. • Detect inefficiencies, repetitive rework, and operational breakdowns, and redesign workflows to enhance accuracy and performance. • Establish, monitor, and continuously improve operational KPIs such as SLA performance, turnaround times, error frequency, and reprocessing rates. • Ensure consistent, high-quality support delivery across B2B clients and end users through all service channels. • Minimize reliance on manual handling by promoting self-service solutions, automation, and proactive communication strategies. • Provide scalable operational frameworks to support Customer Success teams rather than isolated, reactive fixes. • Take ownership of data integrity across key client information such as workforce records, payroll data, balances, and eligibility status. • Leverage data insights and AI-driven signals to anticipate and prevent operational issues before they escalate. • Act as the internal representative of operational insights, sharing structured feedback with Product and Engineering teams to enhance the platform. • Lead the identification and implementation of AI-powered and automated workflows across operations and support, including smart ticket routing, automated responses, payroll validation, and incident pattern detection. • Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to integrate AI solutions that enhance, not replace, human decision-making. • Ensure all automation initiatives comply with data protection, regulatory, and audit standards. • Partner cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and Advocacy teams to deliver scalable operational improvements. • Translate operational challenges into actionable requirements for automation, tooling, and product development. • Support onboarding and launch readiness for new clients, partners, and markets by ensuring operational scalability from the start. What skills do I need to be a good Client Operations Specialist? • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Finance, Marketing, or a related discipline. • Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English and Spanish ; additional European languages are a plus. • Highly developed analytical thinking and structured problem-solving capabilities. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environments. • Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams. • Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with strong accountability. • Self-motivated and able to take end-to-end ownership of challenges. • Strong process mindset focused on structure, efficiency, and continuous improvement. • Comfortable working with AI tools, automation platforms, and data (no coding required, but solid understanding is important). • Able to balance structure with execution in a fast-moving, high-growth environment. • Confident influencing and collaborating with cross-functional teams without formal authority. • Strong interest in fintech, financial wellbeing, and international scale-up environments.
