Corporate Advisory • Advise on a wide range of corporate legal matters across group entities, • Support on corporate restructurings and other strategic transactions, • Provide pragmatic, business‑focused legal advice to senior stakeholders, • Assist in the management of external legal counsel on corporate matters Corporate Governance, • Assist with board and committee meeting preparation, including drafting resolutions and minutes, • Support compliance with corporate governance obligations across group entities, • Maintain statutory books and corporate records for group companies and update Adevinta’s group organisational charts, • Handle KYC requests and corporate documentation for banks and other stakeholders or counterparties, • Manage signatures and execution processes Ethical Compliance, • Support the development and implementation of the group’s ethical compliance framework and policies, • Advise on anti‑bribery and corruption, sanctions, conflicts of interest, and related regulatory requirements, • Conduct and assist with compliance risk assessments and internal investigations where required, • Deliver compliance training and awareness initiatives across the business, • Monitor regulatory developments in ethics and compliance and assess their impact on the group Stakeholder Management, • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal clients across all levels, • Deliver clear, concise legal guidance tailored to non‑legal audiences, • Collaborate with compliance, finance, HR, and technology teams on cross‑functional matters Qualifications & Experience, • EU qualified lawyer with 3–5 years of post‑qualification experience (PQE), • Background in corporate law, ideally in private practice and in‑house experience in a group or regulated environment, • Demonstrated interest or experience in ethical compliance and/or data privacy, • Strong drafting skills and sound legal judgement Skills & Competencies, • Ability to manage a varied workload independently and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills; an additional language (German, French and/or Dutch) is an advantage, • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities with a principled, risk‑aware mindset, • Confident, collaborative team player with a proactive and hands‑on approach, • High attention to detail and commitment to quality, • Flexible mindset and do‑er mentality Adevinta is scaling during a company restructure and localisation under new ownership.
