In this kind of project, be able to give appropriate feedback to customer and internal stakeholders to assure best architecture selection. /p /li lipUnderstand globally system requirements and system architecture to perform and appropriate software design. /p /li lipCarry out the SW development to ensure the technical and functional feasibility of the products giving support to the project teams, with the objective of reaching cost, quality and timing goals established by the direction. /p /li lipResearch, design and write new software programs and develop existing programs by analyzing and identifying areas for modification. /p /li lipGenerate accurate technical manuals of the delivered software and operational documentation, as well as the required SW design delivery documents. /p /li lipEnsure the development and prototypes delivery regarding the defined plans with the client. /p /li lipTechnical support within area of expertise to other team members. /p /li lipPerform research into new technologies, ideas and trends within your area of expertise and attend relevant conferences or seminars to ensure the organization remains up to date with current technological developments and in the state of the art of all emerging technologies. /p /li lipParticipate in demos of team capabilities to company management and to customers with creation of prototype setups, sometimes to be presented in fairs where the company is present too. /p /li lipGenerate accurate periodic reporting of progress and blocking points, to be able to communicate efficiently with the team and with our customers. /p /li /ul h3WHAT WE OFFER /h3 ul lipFull flexibility to manage hybrid work model, depending on the tasks. /p /li lipAttractive professional career development close to different areas related to electronics development, software development, in-vehicle networking technologies / protocols and web applications / cloud platforms to support our projects and products. /p /li lipCompany culture oriented to research engineering with no politics and a clear reinvestment mindset in research. International mobility options available to discuss case-by-case. /p /li lip30 working days as holidays, with full flexibility to manage them. /p /li lipPrivate health insurance. /p /li lipRegular team building activities with specific company budget. /p /li lipOpportunity to further expand your training, from personal abilities to technical areas. /p /li /ul pFor additional information in case you want to know more about us, check our website: /p h3SKILLS /h3 ul lipbAt least 2-4+ years of experience in embedded software development. /b /p /li lipPrevious experience in real-time operating systems like freeRTOS and clear understanding of design and programming concepts for real-time software. /p /li lipSolid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles. /p /li lipExperience developing software in system languages like C and C++. /p /li lipFamiliarity with performance profiling and debugging tools for C++ applications. /p /li lipExperience in low level debugging with tools like Trace32 or similar. /p /li lipBasic electronics understanding is mandatory – capability to understand schematics and use an oscilloscope during low-level debugging (register level). /p /li lipDesirable knowledge of different communication bus interfaces: I2C, SPI, CAN, CAND-FD, LIN, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet, SerDes, etc. /p /li lipDesirable knowledge of building tools for embedded Linux systems, as Yocto, BuildRoot, OpenWRT or experience in builds starting from desktop distributions. /p /li lipDesirable experience in product customization and board bring-up for embedded Linux systems: device tree modifications, familiarity with uBoot and driver modifications for custom target boards. /p /li lipPrevious experience in Python and other scripting languages is appreciated. /p /li lipExperience working in AGILE or Scrum development environments. /p /li lipExperience in team-based development, using centralized issue trackers like JIRA, version control systems like SVN or git and continuous integration tools like Jenkins. /p /li lipGood team first player with strong analytical and investigation skills to work in research projects with new technologies in early design phases. /p /li lipHighly detail-oriented person with a passion for being a proactive provider of solutions. /p /li lipFluency in local languages and working fluency in English is a must, basic German is nice to have but not required.
