About the job: Some of your responsibilities include: Lead service education through daily line-ups; new staff training programs; ongoing development programs and seminars; daily evaluation of restaurant service performance; employee discussion and evaluations; coordination of timely food production. Work with restaurant managers and Chef to provide excellent quality and presentation of all food to the guests. Help meet budget in all areas of cost control with consistent focus on cost of sales and payroll. Communicate with management, employees, and accounting staffs, identifying attractive and developable personnel and providing necessary training as positions open. Help to fill any open positions with qualified candidates. All personnel should receive regular, timely, and honest evaluations of their performance and potential. Monitor the cleanliness of the restaurant internally and externally. Coordinate kitchen cleanliness with the Chef. Coordinate service area maintenance when necessary. Supervise all non-supervisory employees. Assist with interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and coaching employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Number of positions: 2 Wage Rate/ hour 11$ + Gratuity range/ hour 12$/14$ Work permit costs and processing Plane tickets for relocation to Cayman covered up to USD $1800 2 weeks accommodation upon arrival (can be extended up to 3 weeks if needed) Employee canteen for complimentary meals during work days Uniforms provided and laundered Medical insurance (employee premium covered at 50% for non-mgmt roles; 100% for management) 2 weeks paid vacation Pension: 5% match after a 9-month grace period Overtime pay (x1.5 of hourly rate) over 9 hours per day or 45 hours per week Double pay (x2 of hourly rate) on public holidays (12 per year); Hotel discounts in IHG Hotels worldwide 50% discount in Kimpton Seafire & Hotel Indigo Restaurants, plus 50% discount in Restaurants when traveling and staying in the hotel on an employee rate Managers: Dry cleaning of professional clothing, parking in garage, use of hotel gym Department: F&B Management About you What You Bring 1 year of supervisory experience or 2 years as Server/ Bartender in an upscale restaurant at a luxury hotel/ resort or similar industry. Strong understanding and ability to train the team on Forbes/ AAA luxury standards. Passion for crafting and personalizing guest experiences. Highly motivated and flexible, with the ability to take initiative. Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness Certifications (if applicable). Able to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Excellent interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, and organizational ability. Able to learn, retain, and present product, menu, and allergy information to guests. Prior knowledge or point-of-sale system/ restaurant reservation systems. Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed. Ability to work outdoors in very warm weather. Language required: English.
