About the Role We're looking for a Growth Marketing Manager who thrives at the intersection of lifecycle marketing, paid acquisition, CRM strategy, automation, and AI. This is not a traditional growth marketing role focused solely on campaigns. We're looking for someone who understands how to build and optimize growth systems that drive customer engagement, conversion, retention, and revenue. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable analyzing customer behavior, designing sophisticated lifecycle journeys, building automation workflows, leveraging AI to improve marketing performance, and identifying opportunities to optimize the customer journey from first touch through conversion and beyond. This role is highly cross-functional and will work closely with marketing, sales, and leadership to build scalable growth infrastructure and improve business outcomes. What You'll Do • Own and optimize customer lifecycle programs across acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and conversion, • Build and manage sophisticated segmentation strategies using behavioral, engagement, lifecycle, and acquisition data, • Design personalized customer journeys that improve customer experience and business outcomes, • Partner closely with paid acquisition efforts to ensure a seamless experience from first touch through conversion, • Build, manage, and optimize CRM, email, and automation workflows, • Develop and implement AI-powered marketing workflows that improve personalization, efficiency, and performance, • Analyze customer behavior, funnel performance, and lifecycle data to identify growth opportunities, • Design and run experiments to improve conversion rates, activation, retention, and overall customer engagement, • Partner closely with sales to improve lead quality, conversion rates, and revenue outcomes, • Monitor and report on key growth metrics while developing actionable recommendations, • Evaluate and implement emerging AI, automation, and lifecycle technologies that improve marketing effectiveness, • Help modernize Product School's growth infrastructure through systems thinking, automation, experimentation, and continuous optimization What We're Looking For • 4+ years of experience in growth marketing, lifecycle marketing, CRM marketing, marketing automation, demand generation, or a related field, • Strong experience building lifecycle programs, nurture journeys, and customer engagement strategies, • Experience managing or partnering closely with paid acquisition programs, • Deep understanding of segmentation, personalization, customer journey design, and lifecycle marketing, • Experience working with complex customer databases and multiple audience segments, • Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Customer.io, HubSpot, Braze, Marketo, Iterable, Salesforce, or similar tools, • Demonstrated experience using AI tools and automation platforms as part of day-to-day marketing execution, • Experience building or managing AI-powered workflows that improve personalization, segmentation, campaign performance, operational efficiency, or customer engagement, • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn customer and performance data into actionable insights, • Experience measuring success through business outcomes such as activation, engagement, retention, conversion, CAC, and revenue growth, • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment with significant ownership and autonomy, • Proven track record of driving measurable business outcomes through marketing initiatives, • Experience with tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, OpenAI, Claude, or similar automation ecosystems What Success Looks Like • You understand how to segment complex audiences and deliver personalized experiences at scale, • You connect acquisition, lifecycle, and retention efforts into a cohesive growth strategy, • You leverage AI and automation to make marketing smarter, faster, and more effective, • You think beyond campaigns and focus on systems that drive long-term growth, • You use data to identify opportunities, run experiments, and improve conversion throughout the customer journey, • You continuously optimize customer journeys based on behavioral signals and performance data, • You measure success through business outcomes—not just marketing activity Nice to Have • Experience in subscription, membership, SaaS, education, or product-led growth environments, • Experience managing high-volume lifecycle marketing programs, • Experience building advanced lead scoring, behavioral segmentation, or personalization frameworks, • SQL, analytics, or technical marketing experience, • Experience working in AI-native organizations or implementing AI-first marketing strategies Why Join Product School?
