EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Hiring Manager: Engagement and Change Strategy Lead Business Unit: Business Operations - Procurement Services Date: Nov-2025 Duration: 18 months This Statement of Work outlines the engagement for a contractor within Procurement Services to lead engagement activities The role is critical to supporting the tower's stakeholder engagement strategy and driving effective communication across the organization. As The company continues its transformation journey under the Take the lead strategy, this position will help ensure alignment, collaboration, and successful change adoption across Procurement Services functions and related stakeholders. The Engagement Lead will be instrumental in maintaining momentum for ongoing transformation initiatives while fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the Procurement Services. 2. BACKGROUND & CONTEXT The client is undergoing a significant transformation to improve people's lives through the miracles of science. The next chapter Take the Lead strategy focuses on delivering transformation and simplification of core processes, optimizing resource allocation, and fueling business growth and investment in science. To facilitate this transformation the company has established a new Business Operations Business Unit that brings together existing business service activities into a global unit. This new structure centralizes services at scale with a focus on driving simplification, efficiency, and productivity across the organization. The Business Operations enables the delivery of best-in-class business support capabilities, incorporating teams from R&D, M&S, Corporate Functions, and GBUs into global Service Delivery Towers. The Procurement Services Tower is a key component of this structure, supporting the source-to-pay end-to-end process. 3. SCOPE OF WORK The Procurement Services Engagement Lead will focus on the following areas: • Execution of stakeholder engagement initiatives within the Procurement Services, • Support for change adoption and transformation activities across Procurement Services functions, • Facilitation of collaboration between Procurement Services teams and neighboring functions, • Implementation of communication strategies to drive understanding and alignment, • Geographic scope: Global Out of Scope: • Development of overall tower strategy (supports but does not lead), • Direct management of procurement operations, • Technology implementation (except for engagement aspects) 4. OBJECTIVES & GOALS The Engagement Lead will work toward the following objectives: • Drive effective stakeholder engagement across the Procurement Services Tower to ensure understanding and buy-in for transformation initiatives, • Support change adoption through targeted communications and engagement activities, • Foster collaboration across procurement teams and related functions to enhance end-to-end process effectiveness, • Maintain momentum and stakeholder commitment throughout the transformation journey, • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the Procurement Services Tower, • Ensure alignment with Sanofi's broader Play to Win strategy and Business Operations objectives 5. KEY DELIVERABLES 5.1 Stakeholder Engagement Execution • Implementation support for the tower's engagement strategy across teams and stakeholders, • Coordination of engagement activities promoting understanding, alignment, and collaboration, • Development and delivery of targeted communications and engagement campaigns, • Facilitation of feedback loops ensuring stakeholder input is captured and addressed, • Regular engagement touchpoints with key stakeholder groups 5.2 Engagement Planning & Delivery • Contribution to engagement plans including stakeholder mapping, communication timelines, and feedback mechanisms, • Monitoring of engagement effectiveness with improvement recommendations based on data and feedback, • Creation of engagement materials (presentations, newsletters, toolkits) tailored to different stakeholder groups, • Development of engagement roadmaps aligned with transformation milestones 5.3 Collaboration & Alignment • Partnership with tower leadership and operational teams to ensure consistent messaging, • Alignment with Engagement & Change Lead on broader change initiatives and business priorities, • Participation in workshops, forums, and meetings to represent engagement activities and gather insights, • Cross-functional coordination to ensure seamless stakeholder experience 5.4 Measurement & Reporting • Tracking of engagement metrics and preparation of leadership reports on progress, risks, and opportunities, • Support for readiness assessments and stakeholder sentiment analysis to inform engagement strategies, • Documentation of engagement activities and outcomes • Quarterly engagement effectiveness reports with recommendations for improvement
