Find out more > The Opportunity: Due to an increased deal flow, DC Advisory Spain are looking to further expand their team by hiring a high calibre VP. DC Advisory offers the opportunity to work in a challenging and demanding environment with both origination and execution responsibilities in M&A deals, working closely with seasoned senior bankers and leading a team of junior members. Main responsibilities: • Lead day-to-day execution of M&A transactions, both buy-side and sell-side, including the coordination of the deal team, clients and other stakeholders and advisors., • Lead, supervise and coordinate the drafting of marketing materials and other process documentation including pitchbooks, information memorandum and teasers., • Assist in building and supervising the creation of complex financial models from scratch (including operating models, LBO, valuations and returns analysis)., • Support in the drafting of relevant legal transaction documents., • Manage and lead a team of associates and analysts supporting you to carry out the above responsibilities and act as quality control on their work., • Work closely with colleagues from other DC Advisory Teams and build relationships across the platform., • Help to maintain a positive and supportive firm culture, focused on the effective delivery of world-class service to our clients and development of our team. Qualifications: • 7 plus years of experience in a relevant investment bank or other advisory firm, or M&A Advisory function (corporate finance or corporate development), private equity firm, etc., • Proven experience in the execution of M&A deals and ability to build complex financial models from scratch., • Solid accounting and financial knowledge including different valuation methodologies (DCF, DDM, multiples, etc.)., • Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Ability to synthesise and interpret data, presenting it in a clear, concise and logical way., • Experience in supervising and mentoring junior team members., • Strong academic performance., • Fluency in Spanish and English is essential (other languages are a plus)., • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office with strong focus on MS Excel (financial modelling) and MS PowerPoint., • Knowledge of databases such as MergerMarket, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, etc. would be advantageous.
