ph3Field Service Engineer (FSE) /h3pThe Field Service Engineer (FSE) is a highly visible, customer-facing role critical to the delivery of logistics applications. FSEs apply broad technical knowledge and industry best practices to install, commission, test, and hand over Cognex systems and solutions to system integrators and end‑user customers. /ppWorking independently on standard assignments and escalating complex issues as needed, FSEs perform customer acceptance testing, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and system optimizations to achieve predefined operational acceptance criteria. /ppTypical applications include parcel and pallet conveyor systems, sorters, in‑motion scales, dimensioning systems, label printer/applicators, scanners, sensors, and PLC‑controlled solutions. /ppNo deje pasar esta oportunidad, inscríbase rápidamente si su experiencia y habilidades coinciden con lo que se indica en la siguiente descripción. /ph3Essential Functions /h3ulliDevelop and implement on‑site electrical, optical, and/or mechanical system modifications and optimizations to achieve designed performance specifications and engineering requirements. /liliPerform on‑site engineering activities, including installation, startup, testing, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis of complex systems, materials, and components. /liliServe as the primary customer contact for administrative and technical matters on assigned projects. /liliAssess customer needs, determine appropriate ownership for issue resolution, and keep Sales and Service Management informed of project status, service issues, and potential sales opportunities. /liliProvide basic training and mentorship to new LFSEs, LPIs, LSPs, and customers. /liliReview and approve the operational quality of equipment and systems, and train customers on system operation and maintenance. /liliDeliver timely, detailed, and accurate reports on service activities and product performance. /liliDemonstrate safe work practices in equipment handling, electrical/electronic procedures, and diverse site environments. /liliMaintain current product knowledge and attend required training to stay up to date with technology advancements. /li /ulh3Knowledge, Skills, Abilities /h3ulliDemonstrated ability to independently perform technical analysis on standard systems, determine appropriate actions, and apply logical troubleshooting and sound judgment. /liliAbility to handle routine customer situations and appropriately escalating when necessary. /liliDedicated, detail‑oriented, and focused on customer satisfaction. /liliIntermediate knowledge and experience with Java scripting for data formatting and/or communications scripting, and serial communications (ASCII). /liliExcellent time management and proactive communication skills. /liliAbility to multitask and work under pressure with an adaptable work style. /liliSelf‑motivated, able to work independently, and a conscientious team player. /liliWorking knowledge of logistics products, solutions, and software. /liliWorking knowledge of industrial controls, networking, and communications protocols. /liliSolid CAD skills, including the ability to interpret mechanical designs, electrical drawings, and panel designs. /li /ulh3Minimum Education and Work Experience Required /h3ulliEnglish and Spanish language proficiency. /liliDriver's License. /lili2‑4 years of relevant technical experience in Industrial / Manufacturing / Field Service environments. /liliMust reside in Spain. /liliAvailability to work evenings, weekends, and varying schedules based on business needs. /liliAbility to be on‑call and respond to customer emergencies. /liliFrequent travel up to 90%, including overnight stays, based on project schedules and role location. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
