This position works closely with the Plant Leadership Team, EMEA Plant HR Team and Iberia HR Team to ensure the implementation of human resources and leadership practices, processes, and programs that enhance organizational effectiveness and associate development. As a member of the BD HR team, the role will collaborate on the design, development, introduction, and integration of HR processes, practices, programs, and initiatives that contribute to both individual and company success. /p h3Main Responsibilities /h3 ul liTranslate business needs to HR imperatives, implement comprehensive talent, learning, compensation engagement solutions to fulfil these needs through ASC, CoE, Country HRBPs. /li liPartners with the Fraga Plant Leadership Team (PLT) to ensure an effective execution of all primary annual BD Human Resources processes for the business, i.e., Human Resources and Succession Planning, Performance Management and Development Planning, Compensation Planning. /li liIdentifies organizational needs and leads local efforts to ensure effective definition, deployment and training around all business-specific and BD HR practices, which incorporates clear accountability for HR, Leadership Team members, People Managers, and other Support Associates. Sample practices include: Talent Management, Organizational Capability and Capacity Analyses and Planning, Recruitment and Selection, Associate Engagement, Headcount management, Compensation and Benefits Administration. /li liAs a member of the Plant Leadership Team, provides coaching in Destination/Vision/Mission and Business Planning, Talent Management and Succession Planning, Organizational Design and Development, Competency Analyses, Staffing and Selection, Training and Development, Coaching, Leadership Development, Team Development, HR services delivery, Compensation and Benefits planning and administration and Associate Engagement. /li liAdvise with managers on organizational structures, roles responsibilities, staffing levels, etc. /li liWorks with Plant Manager to design and evaluate effective staffing models. Manages change, as needed, when business needs require modifications to established models. /li liCoaches managers and supervisors at all levels, providing timely and constructive feedback to help them improve their leadership effectiveness. /li liIdentifies retention issues and recommends creative solutions to address them. /li liAssists leadership to create work environments reward systems that keep the associates stimulated and the team and organization productive. /li liCollaborate closely with HR COEs and ASC to ensure BD HR Service Delivery model is leveraged at its best capacity onsite. /li liOccasionally participates in broader country projects (all HRBPs take one to represent Spain, i.e., Top Employer, Equal Pay, Discovery Training, EINF, etc). /li liWorks closely with AccessHR on recommendations for critical disciplinary action, ensuring consistency with Company policies and practices. /li liWorks with the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers to effectively efficiently identify and fill vacancies with high caliber associates at competitive wages. /li liOverall responsibility for the Year-End Compensation Planning process. /li /ul h3Operational Excellence /h3 ul liDrive cultural and/or functional Transformation happening on site, in the BU, or at BD level. /li liSupport the execution of BD Excellence / People Component by acting as an ambassador on site and for peers in other sites. Engage the site LT in leveraging People Component to best achieve plant performance objectives. /li liRoll-out HR BD Excellence Global Program when made available as per guidance. /li /ul h3Performance Management /h3 ul liAssists managers with all aspects of the annual performance management and development process, in partnership with Access HR. /li /ul h3Legal Compliance /h3 ul liWorks with BD outside Legal Counsel to assure all policies and practices are written fairly and are aligned with all legal requirements. /li liMaintains compliance with company and government requirements including BD Ethics Policy and local labor legislation. /li liIdentifies training needs for the site and secures appropriate resources to conduct training, which may include conducting training courses. /li liResponsible for all local policy development/implementation. /li liResponsible for implementing BDX, WW Business Unit, Division procedures as required. /li /ul h3Other HR Partner Responsibilities /h3 ul liWorks on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the team and interpersonal dynamics. Serves as escalation point for complex issues for the site LT. /li liAs a member of the EMEA Manufacturing HR LT and Iberia HR LT, contributes to delivering both roadmaps through the Fraga site and beyond. /li liParticipates in development of methodologies, operating practices, work systems, techniques, tools and evaluation criteria for projects, programs and people. /li /ul h3About You /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in HR, Business, Psychology or a related field required. /li li8 years’ experience in the field of HR required, with a solid knowledge of all HR functions as key business levers. Has worked in a generalist capacity that required experience specialization in one or more functional areas such as change management, organizational effectiveness/development, recruitment/selection, compensation, positive employee relations, performance management, HRIS or employee and management training/development, policy development and administration, and employment law. /li liExperience working in large complex environment and matrixed organization is a must. /li liExperience in implementing Talent Management and People development programs is required. /li liExtensive HR client experience preferred. Total experience to include project and/or process leadership responsibility. /li liExperience supporting a diverse client group including clients ranging from non-exempt to professional business functions. /li liProven experience working with others in the process of restructuring an organization (organizational design). /li liAnalytical skills and ability to provide project execution to HR solutions. /li /ul pSalary range for this role: EUR 80,000 - EUR 100,000 /p pPrimary work location: ESP Huesca - Fraga /p pBecton, Dickinson, and Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
