ppLocation: Porriño, Pontevedra, Galicia, Spain. /ppWe are looking for an experienced bProject Engineer /b to lead and deliver complex capital investment engineering projects in a regulated environment. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives in terms of time, cost, and quality. /ph3What You Will Do /h3ulliIn close collaboration with the sponsor, perform cost-benefit analysis and develop implementation strategies to support project justification and business case development. /liliPrepare required deliverables for internal/global decision stage gates and capital funding requests. /liliDefine user requirement specifications (URS), project scope, budget estimates, and schedules for assigned projects. /liliEnsure all project deliverables and activities align with project objectives, KPIs, and overall business strategy (e.g., BSR/MPS, SMP, Sustainability). /liliLead multidisciplinary, cross-functional teams to achieve project goals by effectively managing scope, budget, and schedule baselines. /liliEnsure compliance with Quality, Regulatory, Legal, EHS, Sustainability, and innovation requirements. /liliTake ownership of yearly CapEx targets and oversee the capitalization process of fixed assets. /liliManage project budgets efficiently, focusing on fit-for-purpose and proven solutions executed in a simple and effective way. /liliDevelop and implement communication plans to keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle. /liliReview technical specifications, procurement packages, and project documentation to ensure compliance with engineering standards and procedures. /liliMonitor project milestones, risks, and KPIs, providing regular reporting and timely escalation when needed. /liliOversee construction, commissioning, and qualification activities through to project start-up. /liliEnsure smooth and timely handover to operations, supporting operational readiness prior to first use. /liliMaintain full accountability for project execution from initiation to delivery, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance. /liliProvide technical guidance and support to project team members. /liliLead by example in safety, anticipate risks, enforce safe practices, and intervene when necessary. /liliAct as a role model, especially for new hires, recognizing and promoting strong safety behaviors. /li /ulh3What We Are Looking For /h3ulliBachelor’s degree (BSc) in Engineering (Industrial Engineering preferred or equivalent). /liliFluent in English (written and spoken). /liliProven experience in capital projects in Pharma Biotech or related industry (Life Sciences, Healthcare, Fine Chemicals, Food Beverage…) both leading cross-functional project teams and managing project budgets (up to 5-10 mEUR). /liliExperience in cost control and project management tools and methodologies (Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification desired). /liliExcellent communication, organization, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities. /liliAbility to manage multiple priorities and analyze complex datasets effectively. /liliStrong business acumen with an understanding of the impact of decisions. /liliIntermediate level of MS Project, AutoCAD, and SAP. /liliKnowledge of FDA/EMA cGxP, ASME-BPE, and ISPE guidelines is a must. /liliA positive, proactive, diligent, and collaborative mindset with openness to dialogue and continuous improvement. /li /ulpReference: R75648 /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
