Our values and continuous improvement culture build the foundation of strong and sustainable businesses appreciated by our employees and customers around the world. /p h3RD Manager (Rubber Business) /h3 pAs a RD Manager, you will be responsible for all activities to ensure the success of the product lines and marketing strategies, define a roadmap for product development by identifying opportunities for improving the growth trajectory of product lines and recommending new product development, manage PL for product lines and ensuring actions are taken to maintain as much profit as possible with the given product line. You will report to the Rubber Product Line Manager. For this role, you will be based in Vilanova i la Geltrú, Barcelona (Spain). The position has responsibility for China and India and will require regular travel to both countries. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDefine and execute the mid‑ and long‑term Global RD strategy aligned with corporate and commercial objectives. /li liLead and develop the RD team (product engineering, materials, laboratory and testing). /li liDrive new product development and continuous improvement of rubber power transmission belts worldwide. /li liResearch, develop and validate rubber compounds, reinforcements and surface treatments. /li liImprove product performance (durability, energy efficiency, noise, vibration, thermal and chemical resistance). /li liOptimize materials, designs and processes to support cost reduction and efficiency improvement. /li liEnsure compliance with technical standards, regulations and customer requirements. /li liDefine and oversee product testing, validation and homologation activities. /li liManage RD budget, priorities and resource allocation. /li liCollaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Purchasing and Sales to ensure industrialization and market success. /li liSupport customer technical needs and product troubleshooting. /li liWork with Quality and Technical Area/ Engineering to resolve product issues and ensure product reliability. /li liContribute to sustainability initiatives and cost optimization.
