About the Role As the Country Business Development lead you will be accountable for the management of all commercial activities within France. Your focus will be the proactive management and development of the multi-channel business in your country/region. This will include developing the current strategic business partners as well as the acquisition and development of new target trading partners. Taking a contemporary and customer-led approach to business, your responsibilities will include but not be confined to: maintaining and growing market share and business results; achieving revenue and GM targets, effective distribution of all product lines; the deployment of key regional channel and (digital) marketing activities; ensuring that the KEF brand is represented properly at suitable and professional authorised retailers. With a people centered approach, you will also harness the talents of the wider business to develop successful and innovative ways of working and facilitate opportunities to support them to develop their career further at KEF. This role is remote and is based in France, ideally Paris based or within good commuting distance of Paris Responsibilities and Accountabilities • Act as an ambassador of the brand and its values, • Strategic management and development of key retail and retail partners, • Multi-channel business development and operations management,, • Utilise and develop KMG for commercial optimisation with business partners, • Improve performance and effectiveness of key business partners through training and inspiration events at KMG, • Regular internal reporting and customer facing business reviews, • Plan, manage and maximise sales and marketing opportunities for your whole region, • Leadership and development of the business within region/country, • Ensure regular communications are maintained to a high standard, including structured business reviews, account plans and marketing calendars, reflective of KEF premium brand positioning, • Maximising representation and exposure of KEF products with the retailer ensuring this is maintained through all customer touchpoints. This includes ensuring:, • KEF product is on demonstration in all relevant stores, • KEF POS utilised and on display in stores, • KEF product ranging reflects the local market in store and online, • KEF product listed utilises the correct brand assets and copy, • In store and online / distance business development training presented to all stores on a regular basis, to ensure consistent message in line with the KEF brand guidelines, • Develop channel-specific business growth strategies, • Conduct business development trainings and product demonstrations at key trade and/or consumer events when required, • Participate in regular business development/sales meetings and business performance reviews, to report back on market dynamics, progress, and opportunities, • Be the “eyes and ears” of the market and the customer, detailing your findings and reporting back to the business, • An advocate of contemporary marketing and business strategy and achieving strategic omnichannel sales, • Ability and humility to communicate and work effectively across all internal departments, • Close collaboration with Regional Marketing to work on account development plans that drive consistency in voice and messaging, • Forecasting and budget control to optimise business efficiency Personal Skills, Qualifications and Competencies • Excellent leadership skills with a demonstrable record of improving performance, • Substantial experience in audio/music/consumer electronics, • Strategic thinker who can identify and deliver growth opportunities, • Results orientated with a history of overdelivering to target, • Relevant experience in partnering with key national retailers in defining effective sales and marketing activities (Social, events, Online Marketing), in line with budget, to drive consumer purchase, both online & offline, • Successful change agent and an advocate of continuous improvement and development, • Must have excellent communication skills and be an engaging presenter to internal and external audiences / stakeholders, • Customer-first mindset and commitment to excellent customer service, • Able to build good working relationships, • Personable character with demonstratable record of strong selling and negotiation skills, to help build and maintain business relationships, • Excellent organisational skills with a structured approach to doing business, • Passionate about audio/music and proven record in selling Consumer Electronics products, • Good analytical skills with a strong understanding of the local market, • Good team player, • Experienced successful people manager, • Demonstrates the KEF values For more company and role details, please visit our website at _.
