BAR SUPERVISOR – GAIA We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Bar Supervisor to join the team at GAIA in London. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Supervise the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality service at all times., • Lead by example, motivating and supporting the bar team to maintain exceptional service standards while ensuring all beverages are prepared and presented in line with GAIA standards., • Assist with training, coaching, and developing bar team members to enhance product knowledge, service skills, and operational excellence., • Support the implementation of seasonal beverage menus and maintain excellent knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, and premium products., • Maintain effective stock control, minimising wastage through accurate inventory management, stock rotation, and adherence to company procedures., • Ensure the bar remains clean, organised, and fully compliant with health, safety, and hygiene regulations., • Support management in monitoring bar performance, sales, and operational standards, contributing to the achievement of financial and productivity targets., • Work closely with the wider management team to ensure seamless communication across departments and consistently deliver a luxury guest experience. ABOUT YOU • Proven experience as a Bar Supervisor, Senior Bartender, Head Bartender, or in a similar role within a premium or luxury hospitality environment., • Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and current beverage trends., • Experience working in high-volume, fast-paced bar operations., • A hands-on leader with excellent communication, organisational, and team development skills., • Good understanding of stock control, inventory management, and cost-conscious beverage operations., • Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest hospitality standards., • Highly organised, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to perform effectively under pressure., • Experience within luxury restaurant concepts or high-end London venues is highly desirable. The role As a Floor Manager, you'll lead every shift ensuring exceptional service from the moment guests arrive until the last table leaves.
