Hybrid Sales & Business Development Executive Uncle John’s Bakery – Tottenham, London Salary: £16 per hour + performance-related commission Hours: Part-time, 3 days per week (24 hours) Working arrangement: Field-based customer visits and office-based sales About the Role Uncle John’s Bakery is a well-established family bakery with over 30 years of heritage, supplying freshly baked products to retailers, wholesalers and businesses. We’re looking for a passionate, ambitious and personable Sales & Business Development Executive to help strengthen our customer relationships and grow our retail network. This is a hybrid position combining face-to-face sales, customer account management and business development. You’ll play an important role in improving our existing delivery rounds, recovering lost business and introducing Uncle John’s Bakery to new customers. Your Responsibilities • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with existing retail and wholesale customers., • Visit independent shops, convenience stores, supermarkets and potential stockists., • Identify opportunities to increase existing customer orders., • Reconnect with inactive customers and recover lost business., • Introduce new customers to our product range and secure repeat orders., • Handle customer concerns professionally and coordinate resolutions with management., • Work alongside our delivery drivers to improve route performance., • Maintain accurate records of customer visits, sales opportunities and follow-ups., • Work towards achievable sales growth and customer retention targets. Who We’re Looking For • Someone with a genuine passion for sales and relationship building., • Previous experience in sales, FMCG, food distribution or wholesale preferred., • Confident approaching businesses and speaking with decision-makers., • Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills., • Proactive, self-motivated and comfortable working independently., • Commercially minded, with an understanding of profitable growth., • Full UK driving licence preferred. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and motivated Delivery Driver to join our growing team. This is primarily a delivery driving position, but we are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, builds strong customer relationships and is willing to go the extra mile to help develop their delivery route.
