Morning Supervisor Location: Canteen Food Hall & Bar, North Greenwich Contract: Part-Time (30 hours per week, with potential for additional hours) Salary: £14.50 (including paid breaks and holiday accrual) About Us: Canteen Food Hall & Bar is a vibrant, multi-vendor dining destination located in the heart of North Greenwich, just steps from the O2 Arena. Featuring a central bar and six unique street food kiosks, we serve a diverse community of locals, professionals, and event-goers. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality service in a warm and welcoming environment. The Role: We are seeking an experienced and dependable Morning Supervisor to support the day-to-day operation of our venue. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong hospitality background and a proactive, team-focused approach. The successful candidate will work closely with the management team to ensure the venue is prepared and presented to the highest standards each day. Key Responsibilities: Open and set up the main bar and coffee station each morning Receive, log, and organise stock deliveries Conduct deep cleaning and maintenance tasks as part of daily preparation Assist with bar stock replenishment in readiness for evening service Provide friendly, professional service to customers throughout the day Act as a first point of contact for visitors entering the venue Support Duty Managers with operational tasks as required Perform occasional heavy lifting when moving stock and supplies Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 15:00 Occasional evening shifts (up to 21:00) may be required to assist with service Weekend availability may be needed for key events throughout the year Candidate Requirements: Minimum 2 years' experience in a hospitality or food & beverage setting Prior barista and bar experience is highly desirable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team Reliable, organised, and customer-focused What We Offer: London Living Wage employer Paid breaks and accrued holiday entitlement A dynamic and supportive team environment Opportunities for additional hours and professional growth
