We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Wok Chef with expert culinary skills to create a comprehensive menu and innovative recipes for our new restaurant. This is a temporary position; however, if we are impressed with your work, there is potential for a permanent role as the Head Chef once the restaurant is established. Key Responsibilities: Develop and create a diverse and exciting menu focused on wok-based dishes that blend traditional and contemporary flavors. Formulate original recipes, ensuring a high standard of taste, presentation, and consistency. Collaborate with the restaurant management team to finalize the menu and make necessary adjustments based on feedback. Ensure all recipes comply with food safety and sanitation regulations. Provide training and guidance to kitchen staff on the preparation and presentation of new dishes. Stay updated on culinary trends and continuously seek opportunities to innovate and improve the menu. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Senior Wok Chef or Head Chef in a high-volume, upscale restaurant. Expertise in wok cooking techniques and a deep understanding of Asian cuisine. Creativity and passion for developing unique and flavorful recipes. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse kitchen team. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
