And we're looking for an exceptional Bartender to help us open. We're after someone kind, confident, high-energy and genuinely passionate about what they do. The role As Bartender you'll work alongside your Bar Manager and the management team to make sure the day-to-day operation of the bar runs brilliantly every day. That means having high standards for health & safety, culture, hospitality and inspiring & educating the team around you to make sure every guest that leaves the restaurant has the best experience possible. Our story Back in 2019 in Paris, two friends, Charles and Victor, opened a brasserie together - the kind of place Parisians disappear into for a 3 hour lunch. They called it La Nouvelle Garde: a promise to eat and drink the French way, done properly, 100% homemade, cooked from scratch from the highest quality seasonal ingredients. They served classic French dishes prepared with care, generosity and excellence in beautiful, relaxed spaces full of energy. Guests loved it! 🎉 So they opened another one, and then another one. Each with its own name, personality and story, but always with the same love for French food and hospitality. And 10 brasseries later, it was finally time to bring it to London. The role As a Bartender, you'll work behind the bar and prepare drinks throughout the day, from coffee and classic cocktails to wine and soft drinks. You'll set up the bar for the service, making sure everything from garnishes and ice to glassware and stock is ready for a busy shift. During service, you'll work through orders quickly and carefully, making sure every drink is prepared to the right standard and looks great. Our bar sits at the front of the restaurant, so you'll also interact with our guests and bring positive energy. At the end of service, you'll help clean, organise and close the bar, leaving everything ready for the next day. What you'll bring • You have previous Bartender experience in a restaurant or bar., • You know how to make classic cocktails and are confident in preparing different types of drinks and coffees., • You're quick, organised and comfortable working through multiple orders during a busy service., • You care about the quality and presentation of every drink you make., • You're smiley, positive and genuinely enjoy talking to guests., • You communicate clearly and work well as part of a team., • You're comfortable being on your feet and active throughout your shift., • You're reliable, flexible and happy to get involved wherever the team needs you. Summary of position & key attributes Our Bar Team is key to the experience and theatre of our business, you will be producing and serving drinks at high volume in a fast pace exciting environment. We are looking for highly skilled Bartenders who have extensive experience in the bar industry. You will be provided extensive training and be expected to achieve execution criteria and consistency. Day to day duties will involve mixology prep of our unique innovative cocktail menu, preparing and setting up for private events, execution during service hours and maintaining the high hygiene and safety policies. You will work closely with the kitchen and front of house team to deliver exceptional standards of service. We are looking for a self-driven individual that strives for excellence. Ideally with 2-3 years experience in the hospitality industry. The right candidate will be passionate and always strive to exceed expectations in knowledge and capabilities. This role will be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business, including weekend and late night working. This is a seasonal, part-time position on a fixed-term contract, ending on 31st December 2026. Skills and desired qualifications • Minimum 1–2 years’ experience working behind a cocktail bar or in a comparable high-volume environment., • Strong knowledge of classic cocktails and fundamental cocktail techniques., • Ability to accurately follow recipes and specifications., • Good understanding of shaking, stirring, building, straining and pouring techniques., • Understanding of dilution, balance and consistency., • Ability to work quickly, • Good understanding of spirits, liqueurs, bitters, syrups and other cocktail ingredients, • Comfortable working in a venue with very high guest volumes, particularly during peak Saturday services., • Able to remain calm and effective under pressure., • Able to prioritise multiple tickets and orders., • Confident communicating with colleagues and managers., • Reliable and punctual., • Able to take direction and adapt quickly to changes in service., • Comfortable moving between different bar stations when required., • A strong team player who understands that bar service is a collective operation.
