About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and professional Business Representative to support the administration and business presence of their UK company.
The successful candidate will act as a key UK-based representative and point of contact for the company. The role will involve supporting corporate administration, banking and business platform verification, handling business correspondence, and coordinating with the client's wider team.
As part of the role, the successful candidate will also be appointed as a Director of the UK limited company, subject to mutual agreement and the completion of the required identity and compliance checks.
This is a flexible, primarily remote position. The role is focused on representation, administration and coordination rather than the day-to-day management of sales or customer service activities.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with Companies House requirements, identity verification and other general UK corporate administrative matters.
Liaise with UK banks and assist with account opening, KYC, identity verification and related banking requirements.
Act as a local company contact for online marketplaces and business platforms and assist with relevant account or business verification processes.
Receive, review and coordinate relevant business correspondence, documentation and communications.
Assist with establishing and maintaining suitable office or business arrangements in the UK where required.
Where appointed as a company director, fulfil the applicable statutory duties and responsibilities in accordance with UK law.
Requirements
Currently based in the UK.
Valid UK driving licence.
Reliable, responsive and able to communicate promptly when assistance is required.
Comfortable dealing with banks, business platforms and official company correspondence.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Professional approach to confidential and business-sensitive information.
Comfortable completing identity and compliance verification where required for the role.
Working Arrangements
This is a flexible, primarily remote position. Occasional in-person attendance may be required for banking, verification, office or other business-related matters.
The Business Representative will not normally be responsible for managing the company's day-to-day commercial operations, sales or customer service activities unless separately agreed.
Important Information
Shortlisted candidates will be provided with further information about the client company and the proposed appointment before proceeding.
The scope of responsibilities, remuneration, working arrangements and proposed director appointment will be discussed clearly with the successful candidate and agreed before any appointment is made.
All appointments are subject to appropriate identity, eligibility and compliance checks.
