We are currently seeking a Maintenance Assistant to work across our three sites, Fallow & Fowl in Central London and Roe in Canary Wharf. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Maintenance and should have a background either as a skilled handyman or as maintenance assistant and bring energy, initiative, and a problem-solving mindset to every task. Key responsibilities: • Support day-to-day maintenance needs across all three restaurant sites., • Carry out basic repairs including plumbing, electrics, carpentry, and decoration., • Source and collect materials or parts needed for tasks., • Maintain workshop tools and stock, ensuring efficient organisation., • Support with larger projects such as equipment installation or overnight works., • Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and with minimal disruption. About you: • Hands-on experience with plumbing and electrical repairs., • Competent in using hand and power tools (e.g. drills, angle grinders, multi-tools)., • Skilled in painting and decorating, with a keen eye for detail., • Familiar with commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, refrigeration, and gas systems., • Organized and proactive, with good time management and communication skills. We are a local company based in NW8, now covering the majority of London. We have an existing team of 8 people split across all trades, our jobs vary from maintenance works to full refurbs and everything in between! On our decorating side, Jobs range from painting bathrooms ceilings, bedrooms and up to full re decorating of flats and houses. As a company we work with local lettings agents and so Jobs vary day today from 1 day jobs up to 2 week jobs. We are looking to hire full time decorators to join our team with immediate start. Our working hours are 8am - 6pm each day, as a team we meet in the morning, load everyone up and then everyone heads out for the day / to their jobs. We need decorators who work well in changing environments as you may be on a different job each day or one job the whole week. We also require team players and a strong ability to work within a team....some times we have tight deadlines and so we need everyone working together vs separate! We have a great team so far, everyone gets along well and we provide all equipment required for all jobs...so carrying tools or equipment each day is not necessary (Unless you prefer your own brush!) We currently have 5 company vans and so we aim to partner people together or have drop offs / pick ups from jobs to make the day run as smoothly as possible. Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Window Installer to join our construction team. Please ONLY apply if you have experience in glazing or working with glass and installation of windows. Otherwise your application will be rejected. Large project starting January and February, looking for additional skilled staff. Temporary with option to made permanent based on performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing windows in residential and commercial buildings. Working and installing glass. Physically fit and hardworking. This role requires a strong understanding of various construction techniques and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Experience using hand tools and power tools.
