Part-Time Chef – Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Part-Time Chef to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about food, organized in the kitchen, and able to deliver high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items to a high standard, ensuring consistency and quality
- Assist in menu planning and development, including seasonal specials
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen in line with food safety regulations
- Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering ingredients, and minimize waste
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented according to health and safety standards
- Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a chef, cook, or similar role
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards (e.g., Level 2 Food Safety certification preferred)
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
