Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Claim Handler / Dispatch Agent to join our Operations Team at ANSA Claims. This role involves managing insurance motor claims and coordinating dispatch operations efficiently. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring smooth communication between clients, service providers, and internal departments. Organisation, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential to make our team continue to succeed. The role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment where your organisational skills will be highly valued.
Duties
- Handle incoming claims by gathering relevant information and documenting details accurately.
- Dispatch claims appropriately to our service providers promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain organised records of all claims and dispatch activities using company software systems.
- Communicate effectively with clients, service providers, and internal teams to coordinate repair schedules and resolve general enquiries.
- Prioritise claims based on urgency and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding cases.
- Assist with ad-hoc administrative tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing enquiries professionally and courteously.
- Monitor the status of ongoing claims and dispatch operations to ensure adherence to company service level standards.
Qualifications
- Previous clerical experience is preferred, demonstrating strong organisational abilities.
- Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional approach.
- Proficiency in using computer software applications such as MS products or equivalent programmes.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Experience in a similar role within insurance or logistics is advantageous but not essential.
