· Assist individuals with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
· Support clients with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
· Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
· Monitor and report changes in clients’ conditions to healthcare professionals.
· Provide companionship and emotional support.
· Maintain a clean and safe environment.
· Follow infection control and health & safety guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Previous experience in healthcare or personal support work is an asset but not required.
· Completion of a recognized care assistant training program (preferred).
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing quality care.
· Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and assisting patients.
· Current CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
· Valid criminal record check and vulnerable sector screening.
