We are looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join out kitchen team at Osteria Fiorentina in Chelsea.
Junior sous chef provides training and leadership to cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure high productivity, excellent team work and food production.
Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Helping prepare and plate menu items while ensuring that all food products are produced and plated according to Brand Standards
  • Responsible for upholding all standards and daily operations of his kitchen in conjunction with his Sous Chef and Head Chef
  • Assist with goal development and follow up, budget reviews.
  • Review the daily activities
  • Oversee and direct training of new hires in specified phases of the kitchen operation
  • Provide feedback to staff on their performance
  • Taking ownership of your section’s mise-en-place in terms of quantity and quality and deputise in the absence of the Sous Chef or Head Chef

You will need to have experiences in the position
Salary £15 per hour plus bonus plus incentives.
If you have experiences with Italian cuisine and meat is a plus.
