Your day to day: - Keep all kitchen work surfaces (counters, sinks, stoves, walls) clean and sanitized. - Wash cookware, utensils and cutlery fast to keep them in rotation. - Arrange equipment and ingredient deliveries. - Keep the food and supply storage areas organized. - Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols, ensuring that the kitchen maintains the highest cleanliness standards. - During busy service times, assist with cleaning and resetting workstations and kitchen equipment to ensure smooth service. Who are you? - Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or in a similar role is preferred but not essential. - A strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards supporting the kitchen team in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure, especially during busy service times. - Willingness to follow instructions and learn new skills, with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene. - Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards, with a commitment to adhering to health and safety regulations. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the restaurant’s schedule.
