At Il Bistrotto, we believe Italian food is about simplicity, exceptional ingredients, and genuine hospitality. Located in the heart of Chelsea, our tapas bar combines authentic Italian cuisine with one of London's most exciting cocktail and wine programmes. Working alongside some of Italy's finest producers, we are creating a modern neighbourhood restaurant where quality comes first. We are currently looking for a passionate and talented Chef de Partie to join our growing kitchen brigade and work closely with our Head Chef. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a young, vibrant and fast-growing team, where you'll have the chance to develop your skills, contribute your ideas, and grow alongside the business. You'll work directly alongside our Head Chef, giving you the opportunity to learn traditional Italian techniques, contribute to menu development, and play an active role in the growth of one of Chelsea's most exciting independent restaurants. We are open six days a week, with evening service from Tuesday to Friday, and lunch and dinner service on Saturdays and Sundays. This schedule offers an excellent work-life balance compared to many hospitality roles, while allowing you to be part of an exciting and ambitious restaurant. What you'll be doing • Supporting the Head Chef in the daily running of the kitchen., • Managing your section with consistency, organisation and attention to detail., • Preparing fresh ingredients and ensuring every dish is produced to the highest standard., • Assisting with stock rotation, ordering and maintaining food safety standards., • Working collaboratively with the kitchen team during service., • Helping develop and maintain our seasonal menu., • Helping the bakery section with our signature Focaccia al Formaggio (from Recco). Previous experience working with doughs, bread, bakery or pizza production would be a strong advantage. We're looking for someone who • Has previous experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Demi Chef de Partie ready to step up., • Has experience with bakery, dough or bread production (preferred)., • Is passionate about authentic Italian food and quality ingredients., • Works well under pressure while maintaining excellent attention to detail., • Is organised, reliable and takes pride in their work., • Enjoys working as part of a close-knit, professional team., • Has a positive attitude and is keen to continue learning and developing.
