Business Administration Apprentice (Construction Sector) Job Overview Kick-start your career with an exciting opportunity as a Business Administration Apprentice within a professional construction company based in London. You will work alongside experienced professionals and support the day-to-day administrative operations of a busy construction business. The role will give you exposure to project coordination, document management, supplier communication, customer service and general business support. Duties • Support the day-to-day administrative operations of the business., • Assist construction and project teams with general administration and coordination., • Manage emails, calendars, meetings and appointments using Microsoft Outlook., • Prepare professional documents, reports, spreadsheets and presentations using Microsoft Office., • Maintain accurate project records, customer information and internal databases., • Assist with processing purchase orders, invoices and supplier documentation., • Support project administration by tracking deadlines, documentation and outstanding actions., • Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, suppliers and internal teams., • Organise and maintain digital and physical filing systems., • Assist with preparing construction-related documents and project packs., • Support the coordination of meetings, site visits and internal training., • Help maintain records relating to projects, contractors and suppliers., • Provide general administrative support to managers and project teams., • Maintain confidentiality and handle company information professionally., • Complete apprenticeship coursework and attend any required training sessions. Experience • A-Levels or equivalent qualifications are preferred but not essential., • Candidates who have completed A-Levels should include their results and UCAS points on their CV., • No previous construction or office experience is required, as training will be provided., • A genuine interest in business administration and the construction industry., • Good computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint., • Strong written and verbal communication skills., • Good organisational skills and attention to detail., • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively., • A professional, reliable and positive attitude., • Willingness to learn and develop new skills., • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
