Have you got what it takes to join us in the jungle as a Pastry Sous Chef?

As our Pastry Sous Chef at Amazonico, your responsibilities would include:
To ensure all mise en place are prepared on a timely manner, according to the stock preparation schedule.
To ensure all dishes prepared, cooked and presented according to the recipes, ingredients and portion sizes based on the Amazonico standards.
To train and manage all junior members of the kitchen team.
To manage weekly stocks, including ordering and stock rotation, and inventories.
To support in the development of the seasonal menus and specials.
To ensure daily/weekly reports are completed in a timely manner and communicated efficiently.
To assume the running and management of the kitchen team in absence of the senior management team.
Previous experience in high volume luxury hospitality background would be preferable.
In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must either be eligible to live and work in the UK. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.
