The role of Sous Chef: - Cooking seasonal classic European cuisine, using quality fresh ingredients, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation, taste, and presentation. - Being an integral part of the wider kitchen management team, helping to run our busy service, ensuring that all company standards are met and maintained. - All aspects of kitchen management including ordering of stock, stock control, people management and development, fostering a culture of teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement. - Working as part of a professional team within a highly organised, well-equipped kitchen. - Contributing ideas towards seasonal changing menus and weekly specials. The role involves managing ingredient preparation, pizza dough and base preparation, and supporting the team during street food events. You will primarily work in our preparation kitchen, ensuring everything is ready for seamless on-site service.
