The Job We are looking for a chef who can put together simple & delicious food with a strong influence from regional Italian cuisine. You must be experienced delivering a range of authentic first, pasta and second courses while also being able to experiment with modern interpretations of classic dishes. You will also be expected to be able to hand-stretch and cook Roman-style pizzas in our traditional stone gas pizza oven. Experience To be considered, the right applicant will have at least the following skills: · Experience as a Chef in a restaurant with a strong Italian influence. · Excellent understanding of Italian cuisine and a strong appreciation of speciality products and dishes from the region. These skills are sought after and will give potential candidates the edge in the recruiting process: · Experience with pizzas including making fresh dough and operating gas pizza ovens. Job Description: • Support the head chef with the effective preparation and development of food and drink. Sous chef is to take over responsibilities of the Head Chef or Executive Chef during their absence. • Execute busy services of up to 200 pax daily across multiple days and clients. • In close collaboration with the Head Chef and Executive Chef, regularly review the taste, smell, texture, presentation and cleanliness of all food and drink. • Undertake regular recipe development and update the recipe library on a daily basis. Follow menus, recipes, methods and specifications as directed by the Head Chef and Executive Chef. All recipes must be imported accurately into the recipe library. • Support the Head Chef and Executive Chef with the placement of orders with suppliers, check that goods are received in a timely manner and satisfactory condition and ensure that ordered goods match received goods. • File invoices and arrange for credit notes when delivery is incomplete or a product is wrong and/or unsatisfactory. Monitor product quality and costs, research and procure new suppliers when required. • Support the head chef with stock rotation and mise en place. • All food stuff and drink to be correctly stored and labelled, fridge temperatures recorded and other storage requirements in keeping with health and safety guidelines. • Ensure FSO guidelines are followed by all team members throughout the entire food preparation process and storage, both on and off site. • Ensure all daily HACCP tasks are executed as outlined on the TRAIL APP. • Support the head chef with the everyday kitchen management. • Ensure team members feel empowered to take ownership of their work whilst overseeing and improving their daily output. • All team members should finish their daily work to a high standard within a set time frame. • Help to secure staff for future advancement.

We are currently looking for a pizza chef to join our team at Dodici pizze with the following requirements: - Able to make Pizza, fresh dough, dough balls and work with a gas pizza oven. - Able to use professional equipment such as; blender, mandoline and meat slicer to a high standard. As a Groundworker, you will play a key role in preparing construction sites, laying foundations, and completing a variety of groundwork tasks to support the successful completion of projects. Responsibilities: Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, excavating trenches, and leveling the ground. Lay foundations, footings, and drainage systems according to engineering plans and specifications. Install underground utilities, such as water and sewer pipes, electrical conduits, and gas lines. Operate machinery and equipment, including excavators, compactors, and dump trucks, to perform excavation and earthmoving tasks. Pour and finish concrete for foundations, floors, and paving projects. Erect temporary structures, such as scaffolding and safety barriers, to support construction activities. Assist with landscaping and site improvement tasks, such as planting trees, laying turf, and installing fencing. Perform maintenance and repair tasks on construction equipment and tools as needed. Follow safety protocols and ensure that work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other members of the construction team to achieve project goals and timelines. Requirements: Previous experience as a Groundworker or similar role in the construction industry. Proficiency in operating construction machinery and equipment. Knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and tools. Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and specifications. Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in outdoor environments. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
