he Procurement Officer position is required to:
- Obtain quotations from energy suppliers and approved service providers.
- Liaise with meter operators, Meter Asset Managers (MAMs), Meter Operators (MOPs), Data Collectors (DCs), and other utility service providers regarding metering works and related services.
- Source and negotiate pricing for utility-related services, including meter installations, meter exchanges, smart meter upgrades, and associated engineering services provided by third-party contractors.
- Maintain relationships with approved suppliers and subcontractors.
- Compare supplier terms, pricing, and service levels to ensure the best commercial outcome for our clients.
- Manage procurement documentation, purchase records, supplier contracts, and compliance records.
- Coordinate with internal consultants to ensure timely delivery of utility services for customers.
The Procurement Officer is responsible for procuring services from approved utility providers rather than purchasing energy directly. This role supports the company's commercial operations by ensuring efficient supplier management and cost-effective procurement of utility-related services required for our clients.
