They're looking for a Lead Control Systems Software Engineer to take a key role in delivering complex, high-impact projects. As a Lead Control Systems Software Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development and implementation of industrial control system software, with a strong focus on PLC-based systems within energy environments. You’ll provide technical direction to the team, support other developers day to day, and lead by example through hands-on development and problem solving. You’ve probably already operated as a senior engineer, lead developer or tech lead in a modern product environment, and you’ll be comfortable giving technical direction, supporting other developers and raising the bar without becoming a blocker. You do not need to be the loudest person in the room. But you do need enough technical credibility to earn trust, enough judgement to make good calls, and enough maturity to help others improve around you. This will suit someone who still enjoys being hands-on, but wants more ownership, more influence and more scope to shape how the team works.
