As part of Bart & Taylor, an award-winning and growing collection of boutique bars and restaurants across London and the North, we're looking for a talented Sous Chef to support the Head Chef, inspire the team, and help deliver outstanding food every day. Your responsibilities will include: • Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen, • Leading and motivating the kitchen team during service, • Helping to train, coach, and develop junior chefs, • Assisting with menu development using fresh, seasonal ingredients, • Managing stock, ordering, and helping to minimise waste, • Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency, • Ensuring food safety, cleanliness, and kitchen organisation are always maintained, • Stepping up to lead the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence What we're looking for We're looking for an experienced Sous Chef or a strong Junior Sous Chef ready to progress, with: • A passion for fresh, seasonal food and quality ingredients, • Strong leadership skills and a positive, hands-on approach, • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen, • Good knowledge of food safety, stock control, and kitchen operations, • A commitment to developing others and working as part of a close-knit team, • High standards, attention to detail, and pride in every plate that leaves the pass If you're looking for a role where you can develop your skills, have real input in the kitchen, and grow with an ambitious hospitality group, we'd love to hear from you.
