Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the salon team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Develop and implement creative strategies to diversify and enhance the salon's beauty service
offerings.
• Train and mentor salon staff in new and innovative beauty techniques, ensuring consistent high-quality service.
• Actively participate in creating unique beauty treatments and nail designs, staying at the forefront of industry trends.
• Oversee daily salon operations, including client appointments, inventory, and staff scheduling.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain and grow a loyal client base.
• Support salon growth by participating in marketing and promotional activities.
• Lead recruitment, hiring, and training of new staff members.
• Contribute to developing the salon's curated collection of beauty products and services.
• Facilitate the inclusion of Asian beauty treatments and products, recognizing the importance of diverse beauty practices.
• Ensure the salon offers a range of services that cater to the Asian market, including popular treatments and styles.
• Work closely with suppliers to source unique and high-quality products that appeal to the Asian demographic.
• Stay informed about beauty trends within the Asian community and integrate them into the salon's offerings.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Salon Manager focusing on creativity and innovation.
• Ability to create diverse and unique beauty treatments and nail designs.
• Passion for training and developing salon staff skills.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a beauty or nail technician role is highly desirable.
• NVQ Level 5 Beauty Therapy or equivalent is preferred (but not essential).
• Familiarity with industry trends and commitment to staying current with new techniques.
• Ability to contribute to developing and enhancing the salon's curated product collection.
• Understanding and appreciation of Asian beauty practices and trends.
• Experience in developing beauty treatments and products that cater to the Asian market.
• Ability to source and incorporate beauty products popular within the Asian community.
• Sensitivity to cultural preferences and the ability to train staff accordingly.
• Speaking Vietnamese, Chinese, Thai, or Korean is not compulsory but can be a significant advantage.
