Chef — Kūhaku 空白 205 Upper Street, Islington N1 · From £13 per hour + service charge · Salary options available Join our team at an independent Japanese izakaya and hidden cocktail bar on Upper Street. We serve a tight menu of Japanese small plates alongside our cocktails, and we're looking for a chef who can run our kitchen with care and consistency. The role You'll work independently in our compact kitchen, serving the counter attached to the kitchen as well as tables across the bar area. Full training on the menu is given, with time to get comfortable before you're running service on your own. Our kitchen is vegan-friendly by design — konbu dashi only, a vegan curry sauce, vegan panko and coatings, and separated fryers — so care around dietary requirements and allergens is a big part of the job.
