The role As Supervisor, you’ll play an important role in making sure the restaurant runs smoothly throughout the shift. Your responsibilities will include: • Welcoming, greeting and seating guests, • Managing your own section and ensuring excellent service, • Supporting and guiding the front-of-house team during service, • Liaising closely with our reservations team regarding bookings, tables and guest requests, • Managing the flow of the restaurant and making sure tables are turned efficiently, • Opening and closing the restaurant, • Completing opening and closing checks and ensuring the restaurant is ready for service, • Dealing confidently with guest queries and resolving any issues professionally, • Supporting the management team with the day-to-day running of the restaurant We’re looking for someone who • Has previous experience in a restaurant supervisor or senior FOH role, • Is confident leading a team during busy services, • Has excellent customer service and communication skills, fluent in English, and preferably also Spanish and/or Brazilian Portuguese., • Is organised, reliable and able to work independently, • Has a good eye for detail and takes pride in the restaurant, • Can stay calm and positive when things get busy, • Is flexible and happy to get stuck in wherever needed

Tanakatsu is an original Japanese Katsu restaurant based in Angel Islington and has been running for last 8 years. Currently we are recruiting roll as CDP who has a minimum of 2 years experience in similar position As a CDP you are expected to help chefs peeper and serve food (not necessary to have experience in Japanese cuisine) be able to comunícate to with rest of kitchen members and work closely with head chef/owner to keep up both good standards. In return you will receive good wages meals on duty 20 days holiday+ bank holidays Two and half days off one of them will always be Sunday.
