In a world surrounded by intelligent technology, we provide LED Signs that can be remotely operated. - Job Description - Using the CNC machine - Operating industrial machinery, which can include a hydraulic press, grinder, borer. - Loading and unloading 8mm and 10mm Acrylic Sheets to carve Signs. - Fitting the right tools to active machines. - Performing proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories. - Setting tolerance levels and cutting speeds. - Translates the requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for production. - Inspecting workflows to ensure that technical and quality standards are met. - Devising a work plan to efficiently carry out daily machining. Skills Required - Basic knowledge of CNC machinery operation or a strong interest in learning CNC skills (training will be provided). - Ability to read CAD files (training will be provided). - Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. - Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn CNC software (CAD) - Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot basic machine issues. Qualifications: - No prior CNC experience required, but a background in design, engineering, or carpentry is a plus. - Technical or vocational training in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field is desirable but not essential. - GCSEs or equivalent qualification in Maths, Design Technology, or Engineering are beneficial. Adaptive LTD Description We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant and LED Lighting and Sign Assembler to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have some experience with soldering, some mechanical knowledge and a background in warehouse operations. This position involves assembling various components using a soldering iron, flexible neon on acrylic. Although some of the above are ideal they will not be essential as training will be provided. Responsibilities: 1. Read and interpret invoices 2. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards 3. Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment 4. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals 5. Experience 6. Previous experience in assembly and soldering preferred but not essential 7. Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting assembly issues 8. Ability to work efficiently in fast paced environment 9. The role primarily involves packing stock from a conveyor belt in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Main Duties and Responsibilities: • To ensure dock leveller & FLT’s are checked daily, recorded on relevant sheets and defects reported. • Work to standard operating procedures in line with company policy. • Deal with inbound vehicles following the correct company procedure. • Ensure safe handling, storage & repacking of all products in line with stock locations, rotation and TPQ policies. • High level of care and accuracy with pick operations. • Load distribution vehicles in a safe, presentable manner and highlight all errors and damages prior to completion. • Maintain high standards of site house-keeping and view all areas including the warehouse as an extension of our showroom. • Maintain high levels of Health and Safety awareness and report any areas of concern to Team Leader immediately. • Deal with trade counter customers in a professional and courteous manner. • Assist with inventory counting when necessary. • Put improvement suggestions forward where appropriate.
