Our modern, purpose-built home in Melton Mowbray provides Residential, Dementia, and Respite care for 88 residents. As a Senior Carer, you are the go-to leader on your shift. You’ll guide, motivate, and oversee your team to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care, while maintaining accountability for all aspects of the residents’ experience. Your responsibilities include: • Lead the shift: coordinate and support the team, ensuring smooth running of all care and operational tasks, • Write care plans, complete reviews, and deliver personalised care, • Oversee safe medication administration and complete MCA assessments, • Champion training initiatives, including Train the Trainer for moving & handling, and act as a Fire Marshal, • Inspirational leadership experience in a care setting, • Proven ability in care planning, reviews, and delivering person-centred care, • Experience with medication administration and MCA assessments, • Passion for staff development, training, and safety initiatives, • Strong organisational, communication, and proactive problem-solving skills The Amwell Care Home is part of Care Concern Group, a family-owned provider with over 130 care homes across the UK.
