We're looking for a Seasonal HGV Driver to join our Transportation team based in Wymondham. \n Can you envision a world without transportation links by land, sea, or air? Neither can we! Join us at Kier Transportation, where we are working brilliantly together to make a difference, supporting the movement of people, goods, and equipment. \n \n Location: Wymondham, Norfolk \n Hours: 40 hours per week – Fixed term contract: Starting April 2026 for a minimum of 18 weeks \n Rate: £16.00 to £17.00 per hour plus bonuses & overtime \n We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role \n What will you be responsible for? \n As Seasonal HGV Driver, you'll be working within the Surface Dressing team, supporting them in clearing storage areas with a grab (HGV), executing standard daily vehicle checks, and engaging in effective communication with the Supervisor or Foreman, which is a vital part of this role. \n Your day to day will include: \n\n • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment and traffic management procedures, communicating with team members and supervisors coordinating work and resolving issues\n, • Driving a HGV, assisting the drivers with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment as needed along with written and electronic records\n, • Helping with the safe and efficient operation of excavators and other heavy equipment, adhering to company policies and procedures, including timekeeping and attendance\n, • Recording and reporting any incidents or accidents on site, maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of equipment and vehicles\n, • You hold a full Class C or Class CE driving licence (depending on role) also driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) card\n, • Have experience working in a similar role, such as a construction or labouring with good knowledge of health and safety regulations, strong communication, teamworking skills and a current CSCS card\n
