Maintenance Supervisor Location: Kent Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience. We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our client's team during a period of significant growth and development. This role is ideal for someone who can lead, coach and motivate a fast-paced engineering team while ensuring operational performance, equipment reliability and high standards of safety and quality. Values & Core Behaviours The successful post holder will be expected to work in accordance with our organisational values and core behaviours: • Positive, enthusiastic and fully engaged in all aspects of our work., • Committed to delivering excellence in everything we do., • Aware of operational impact and able to maximise value., • Continuously seeking ways to improve, innovate, and enhance our engineering practices., • Working collaboratively, valuing people and contributing to shared success., • Lead and supervise the engineering team to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all site equipment., • Plan and oversee daily engineering workloads, including preventative and reactive maintenance activities., • Ensure machinery, production equipment, and supporting systems are effectively set up, calibrated and maintained., • Carry out hands-on engineering tasks as required, acting as both operator and maintainer when necessary., • Monitor equipment performance, diagnose faults and implement timely solutions to minimise downtime., • Drive improvements in equipment reliability and support achievement of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) targets., • Maintain accurate engineering records, maintenance logs, and compliance reports., • Work collaboratively with production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless operations., • Support the introduction of new technology, processes, and equipment as the facility scales., • Proven experience in an engineering supervisory or senior engineering role within manufacturing., • Strong technical understanding of production machinery, packaging systems or relevant automation equipment., • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues., • Familiarity with OEE metrics, lean methodologies, and continuous improvement tools., • Excellent organisational, leadership, and team-management skills., • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities., • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment., • Experience within beverage, bottling, or food manufacturing environments.
